Tomatoes

Season: July - October. 

 

To grow: Tomatoes are definitely one of my favourite vegetables to grow. They are maximum effort but also maximum reward, because what is better then a freshly harvest tomato with a bit of olive oil and sea salt? You want to do quite a bit of research before delving into growing your own tomatoes but once you have mastered it they are really one of the most worthwhile things to grow. 

 

To eat: I mean, I am sure if you are on this website it means you are relatively into food and so I probably don't have to tell you how to eat a tomato. They really are a household staple during the summer and I have them pretty much every day. Try my Pan Con Tomate recipe.
